Thermal transfer craft is a process of transferring patterns from transfer paper or transfer film to garment fabrics through high temperature. Its basic steps are as follows:
1. Design pattern: First, use the design software to make the pattern that needs to be printed.
2. Print the pattern: the pattern will be printed on the special transfer paper or transfer film. The printer used is usually an inkjet printer or laser printer.
3. Pre-treating fabrics: In order to ensure the adhesion of the pattern, some fabrics may need to be pre-treated.
4. Heat transfer: The transfer paper or film is placed over the fabric and then heated and pressurized using a heat transfer machine. The high temperature causes the dyes in the pattern to sublimate and penetrate into the fabric fibers.
5. Cooling and tearing: After a certain time of cooling, tear off the transfer paper or transfer film and the pattern will be firmly attached to the fabric.
